| Reverse description | Central depiction of Christ in Majesty rendered in gold-plated relief, adapted from the medieval enamel figure found on the Reliquary of Saint Maurus (Relikviář svatého Maura), a celebrated Romanesque reliquary of Bohemian origin. Christ is shown frontally, raising his right hand in blessing and holding a book in his left, his halo rendered in gilded sunburst rays framing a bearded and long-haired visage. The figure is set within a raised Gothic quatrefoil frame decorated with repeated heraldic cross motifs in the background field, itself divided between frosted silver and blackened mirror-polished sectors. The surrounding legend in Latin characters reads '· RELIKVIÁŘ · SVATÉHO · MAURA ·' and 'KRISTUS' in the lower field. |
