| 正面描述 | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara and pearl earring, rendered in fine relief against a bifurcated field of mirror proof and frosted finish. To the left of the portrait, inscriptions in three lines read '2016', 'ELIZABETH II · NIUE ISLAND', and '1 DOLLAR'. To the right of the bust, a decorative geometric lattice motif is rendered in relief, evoking a stylized architectural or manuscript ornament. The Czech Mint mark (CM) and a small heart privy mark appear at the bottom of the field. |

Charles the Elder of Žerotín (1564–1636) was a Moravian nobleman and one of the most prominent Protestant defenders in Central Europe during the lead-up to the Thirty Years' War. He sheltered the Czech Brethren after the 1620 Battle of White Mountain devastated the Bohemian Protestant cause, and his estates at Brandýs nad Orlicí became a refuge for exiled Comenius — the philosopher and educator who would reshape European pedagogy from exile. Žerotín's refusal to join the Bohemian revolt against the Habsburgs, despite his faith, is one of the more studied acts of political pragmatism from that period.
