To the upper left, the heraldic shield of Münsterberg-Oels is rendered in fine detail, with the birth year 1476 inscribed above and the death year 1536 below. The engraver's monogram JB appears in the lower right field. Along the lower rim, the legend KAREL I. MINSTERBERSKÝ is inscribed in bold lettering, identifying the subject in Czech.
