Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl drop earring with a delicate necklace, as modeled by engraver Raphael David Maklouf (third portrait). The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left periphery, NIUE at the top, and ONE DOLLAR along the right periphery, all separated by raised dot stops. The date 2011 appears in the lower field, and the engraver's initials RDM are incuse below the truncation. The design is set within a beaded border on a polished field.
