| 正面描述 | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem, with curled hair and a drop earring visible, rendered across the trimetallic fields. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper periphery of the outer ring, while the denomination and issuer inscription 1 DOLLAR FIJI 2010 runs along the lower periphery. The portrait occupies the central copper-toned inner disc, with the brass middle ring framing the effigy and contrasting with the darker copper-nickel outer ring. |

Bloemfontein is an odd choice for a Fijian commemorative — it's the judicial capital of South Africa, roughly 10,000 kilometers from Suva. The coin belongs to a series Fiji issued under its post-2000 commemorative program, which frequently licensed geographic and thematic subjects with little organic connection to the islands. The trimetallic construction was produced by a small number of specialist mints capable of bonding three distinct alloy rings, most likely struck by Pobjoy Mint in Surrey, which handled much of Fiji's commemorative output during this period.
