Aanvullende informatie

The Battle of Trafalgar, fought on 21 October 1805, ended any realistic French ambition of invading Britain, though Nelson did not live to see the engagement concluded. He was struck by a musket ball from the French ship Redoutable at around 1:15 pm and died three hours later aboard HMS Victory. The Cook Islands has issued commemorative dollars extensively through licensing arrangements with the British-based Pobjoy Mint and similar partnerships, producing themed silver rounds that circulate almost exclusively in collector markets.
