| Obverse description | The obverse bears the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt and engraved by Susan Taylor, depicting the Queen in right-facing profile as a mature sovereign at approximately 77 years of age, uncrowned and bare-headed, adorned with a necklace and drop earrings.
