| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley (IRB), occupying the central field with fine portrait detail. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim and NIUE ISLAND along the upper right rim, both in raised Latin capitals.
