| Obverse description | The obverse features the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, positioned in the lower left field, identified by the legend ELIZABETH II and the engraver's initials IRB. Behind the portrait, a high-relief sculptural frieze depicting a procession of robed figures — evoking classical Roman or early Christian iconography — occupies the upper portion of the field. To the right, a stylized map of Europe is incuse into the field, with marked cities including Moscow, Vilnius, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Ljubljana, and Rome, referencing the UNESCO World Heritage Route.
