| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and crown. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim and NIUE ISLAND along the upper right rim, both in raised Latin characters. The denomination 1 DOLLAR and date 2020 appear in the lower field, flanked by dots.
