Australia's lunar series has run long enough that the Mouse — or Rat, depending on which zodiac translation the mint favored in a given year — marked the second full cycle through the calendar for Perth. The 2020 issue launched just as COVID-19 was beginning its disruption of global bullion markets, a timing that pushed silver premiums sharply upward through much of that year's distribution window.
The dual KM references reflect the two issued sizes within this date: a standard release and a privy-marked variant, each assigned separately in the Krause system.
