Additional information

The "Great Aussie Coin Hunt" series was a deliberate mass-engagement campaign by the Royal Australian Mint, first launched in 2019, designed to drive public interaction with circulating coinage at a time when cashless payments were accelerating sharply across Australia. The third installment continued the alphabetical format, with each letter tied to an Australian cultural reference. Silver proof versions were issued in parallel with the circulating aluminium-bronze pieces, targeting the collector market rather than anyone's change tray.

KM#4290a distinguishes the silver proof from its base-metal counterpart.
