| Additional information |
The Great Aussie Coin Hunt series — first run in 2019 in partnership with Woolworths supermarkets — was one of the more successful attempts by any mint to drive public coin handling in an era of declining cash use. The second series launched in 2021 assigned a letter of the alphabet to an Australian cultural or natural icon, distributed through retail change. Pad-printed color was applied post-strike at the Ram facility in Canberra, a process the RAM had refined considerably since its earlier colored commemorative runs.
