| Reverse description | The reverse presents a highly detailed, topographically rendered depiction of the ancient Mungo Footprint, one of the oldest known human footprints in the world, discovered at the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area in New South Wales. The central design shows the elongated impression of a human foot in high sculptural relief, surrounded by an intricately textured field evoking the cracked and dried lakebed sediment of the Pleistocene-era lunette. The denomination ONE DOLLAR arcs along the upper left periphery, while WILLANDRA LAKES TRACKWAY follows the right border, and MILLENNIA curves along the lower left, all in raised Latin lettering integrated into the overall design. |
