Additional information

Perth Mint's "Happy Birthday" dollar is part of a broader Australian commemorative circulation program that has produced themed one-dollar coins for occasions including Christmas, Remembrance, and Easter since the late 1990s. These aluminium bronze dollars occasionally enter general circulation but are primarily sold through collector rolls and mint bags — meaning most examples are found uncirculated simply because they were never spent.

The 6th portrait of Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark, was adopted by Australia in 2019.
