Obverse description The sixth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as designed by Jody Clark, is depicted in right-facing profile at the centre of the coin, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace. The portrait is set against a radiating sunburst pattern of fine engraved lines that extends across the inner field, creating a striking halo effect. A deep blue enamel annular band frames the portrait, bearing the legend 'ELIZABETH II' to the upper left and 'AUSTRALIA' to the upper right in raised capital letters. The denomination '1 DOLLAR' appears in the lower portion of the blue band, flanked by small dot separators. The engraver's initials 'JC' are incorporated discreetly into the portrait.
