| 背面描述 | A highly detailed rendition of an Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle (Aquila audax) shown in dramatic mid-stoop, wings fully spread and talons extended as it seizes a writhing snake. The powerful bird is depicted with finely engraved feather detail across wings, breast, and tail, conveying motion and strength. The Perth Mint privy mark P appears to the left of the eagle in the field. The arc legend AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE curves along the upper border, while the inscription 2021 1oz 9999 SILVER is positioned along the lower exergual line. The engraver's initials JM appear beneath the design. |

The Wedge-Tailed Eagle series, launched by the Perth Mint in 2014, has become one of the longer-running Australian bullion programs, distinguished by an annually rotating reverse design — a deliberate sales strategy to drive year-on-year collector demand rather than investor indifference. The 2021 issue arrived during a period of exceptional silver market turbulence: a coordinated retail buying campaign in late January 2021, largely organized through social media, briefly drove spot silver to nearly $30 USD per ounce and created acute supply shortages at major mints worldwide.
The "6th Portrait" designation refers to the Jody Clark effigy of Elizabeth II, adopted by Australian coinage in 2019.
