Aanvullende informatie

Part of the Perth Mint's "Young Collectors" series aimed squarely at drawing children into the hobby, this issue used pad printing — a process borrowed from industrial product decoration — to apply colored detail directly onto the coin surface. The technique was unconventional enough in 2014 that the Royal Australian Mint declined to produce it, leaving Perth to handle the run entirely.
