Obverse description The obverse features the fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicting a right-facing crowned bust of the Queen with fine detail in the hair and diadem. The peripheral legend reads ELIZABETH II separated by a raised dot from AUSTRALIA, with the date 2014 inscribed to the right.
