To the right appears a Chinese cash coin bearing the Shou (壽) character representing longevity, while the Chinese character for Pig (猪) is positioned to the left. The legend ONE DOLLAR and YEAR OF THE PIG arc around the design, with the date 2019 also present, and the auspicious Chinese phrase 壽比南山, meaning 'to live a long and happy life', completing the inscription.
