| Obverse description | The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, is depicted in right-facing profile, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. The engraver's initials IRB appear below the truncation of the neck. The surrounding legend reads ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA, with the denomination 1 DOLLAR and the date 2018 inscribed in the lower field.
