| Additional information |
Australia's lunar series from the Perth Mint runs on a strict twelve-year cycle tied to the Chinese zodiac, with the Dog year falling in 2018. Perth has produced two distinct lunar bullion series — Lunar I ran from 1996 to 2007, Lunar II from 2008 onward — meaning collectors following the complete run encountered the Dog motif twice, twelve years apart, with entirely different reverse designs each time.
The three KM references reflect variations in mintmark and finish across the 2018 Dog issue rather than separate coins entirely.
