| Obverse description | The fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered in fine detail with meticulously engraved hair and drapery. The portrait, modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, is positioned centrally in the field with the engraver's initials IRB incuse below the truncation.
