Part of a broader Perth Mint series commemorating World War One propaganda imagery, this issue draws specifically from the Australian Home League's recruitment and civilian morale campaigns — organisations that operated largely through women's networks to pressure men into enlistment and sustain domestic support for the war effort. The pad-printing technique, applied directly to the coin's surface rather than struck into the die, allows reproduction of the poster's original color palette in a way conventional minting cannot achieve.
