| Reverse description | The reverse features a dynamic depiction of the celebrated Australian racehorse Phar Lap in full gallop, mounted by a jockey, set against a boldly radiating sunburst pattern that fills the mirror-polished field. A decorative ribbon banner in the lower portion of the design bears the name PHAR LAP in prominent serif lettering, with the commemorative inscription 75TH ANNIVERSARY below. The dates 1932 - 2007 arc across the upper field, flanking the central equine motif. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears to the right, and the engraver's initials WR are inscribed at lower left. |
