Reverse description The reverse presents a stylised, highly sculptural depiction of an ox rendered in a tightly coiled, reclining posture, occupying the central field in high relief. The ox is rendered in an East Asian artistic tradition, with bold curvilinear forms defining the body, prominent curved horns, and decorative incised detail throughout. Flanking the central motif on either side are elaborate scrolling cloud and wave arabesques in low relief, evoking traditional Chinese decorative arts. The denomination '1 DOLLAR' is inscribed in a bold serif legend along the upper rim, with the fineness statement '1 oz .999 silver' appearing in smaller lettering immediately below.
