Reverse description A pair of cupped hands extends from the lower right of the field, holding a vivid red pad-printed poppy rendered in full colour with a dark centre, symbolising remembrance. Behind the hands rises the silhouetted figure of a soldier standing at rest beside a cross, evoking a war grave. To the left of centre, the commemorative inscriptions LEST WE FORGET and April 25 are incused in the field. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears to the upper left, and the design was created by artist P.J. Lynch.
