| 背面描述 | The reverse features an original artwork by Rolf Harris depicting a kangaroo with a joey in its pouch, both animals rendered in a naturalistic bush setting. The mother kangaroo is shown seated in profile facing left, with the joey's head emerging from the pouch, surrounded by sparse Australian native trees and scrub vegetation. A fallen log occupies the lower middle ground, and the artist's signature ROLF appears incuse in the lower right field. The denomination ONE DOLLAR is inscribed in bold capital letters along the lower periphery. |

Rolf Harris was commissioned by the Royal Australian Mint to paint the kangaroo design on this dollar, part of a broader push in the mid-2000s to engage Australian artists with the circulating commemorative program. Harris was at the time considered a national cultural figure in both Australia and Britain. His subsequent conviction in 2014 on multiple counts of indecent assault has made this coin quietly controversial — the Mint has not reissued the design, and surviving examples occupy an uncomfortable position in collections.
