| 正面描述 | Fourth crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, after the design by Ian Rank-Broadley, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. The legend 'NEW ZEALAND ELIZABETH II' arcs around the upper periphery, with the date '2007' positioned below the portrait. The designer's initials 'IRB' appear truncated at the base of the bust. A beaded border frames the field. |

New Zealand's great spotted kiwi (Apteryx haastii) is the largest of the three kiwi species and the one most restricted to high-altitude South Island terrain — a distribution that kept it off the extinction brink longer than its lowland relatives but has left it critically isolated in fragmented alpine populations. By 2007, estimated wild numbers had fallen below 16,000.
Ian Rank-Broadley's effigy of Elizabeth II, his fourth portrait revision, first appeared on circulating coinage in 1998 and was adopted for New Zealand collector issues shortly after.
