| Reverse description | The reverse features a finely engraved and selectively coloured high-relief portrait of Gandalf the wizard, depicted as portrayed in Peter Jackson's film adaptation, with a wide-brimmed grey hat and flowing beard rendered in meticulous detail. A colour-printed background showing a wooded outdoor scene is visible behind the central figure, framed by an ornamental border of stylised thorned branches. Along the brim of Gandalf's hat, in small incuse lettering, appears the famous quote: A WIZARD IS NEVER LATE, NOR IS HE EARLY, HE ARRIVES PRECISELY WHEN HE MEANS TO.
