Reverse description The reverse commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Eureka Stockade of 1854, depicting a stylised aerial view of miners and diggers assembled in formation within the stockade enclosure, their rifles and picks rendered in bold relief converging toward a central flagpole. Atop the flagpole flies the iconic Eureka Flag, bearing the Southern Cross on a blue field. Low-relief buildings representing the miners' encampment are visible in the middle ground. The curved legend 'EUREKA STOCKADE 1854' arcs across the upper field, while the denomination '1 DOLLAR' is inscribed to the lower left.
