Additional information

The November privy mark variant of the 2000 Kookaburra dollar was issued as part of the Royal Australian Mint's monthly privy program, a series designed to give collectors a reason to acquire multiple versions of the same annual type. Each month's release carried a small distinguishing mark, fragmenting the issue across twelve collectible sub-varieties. The program leaned heavily into the growing bullion-collector overlap that defined Australian silver issues through the late 1990s and early 2000s.

KM#489.2 separates this piece from the base bullion release catalogued under the primary number.
