| Reverse description | The reverse is divided horizontally into two registers. In the upper field, three large poppy blooms in high relief rise on slender stems, their petals rendered in fine detail against a mirror-polished background, symbolising remembrance of the fallen. In the lower register, rows of rifle cartridges are depicted standing upright in the ground, evoking the battlefield. The commemorative legend ARMISTICE CENTENARY 1918 - 2018 arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination ONE DOLLAR is inscribed in large letters along the lower arc. The fineness and weight indicators 1oz and .999 Ag appear in the lower left and lower right fields respectively. |
