| Obverse description | The fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by engraver Ian Rank-Broadley, occupies the central field in right-facing profile. The Queen is depicted wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered in fine detail with a beaded and foliate crown. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left periphery, while AUSTRALIA and the date 2015 arc along the right. The engraver's initials IRB appear in small relief below the truncation of the neck. |
