| 背面描述 | The reverse features a colourful pad-printed depiction of the Helmeted Honeyeater (Lichenostomus melanops cassidix), an endangered Australian bird species, playfully interacting with the uppercase letter H rendered in bold typography. The design forms part of the Royal Australian Mint's Alphabet Collection series, celebrating native fauna associated with each letter. The letter H dominates the central field with the bird perched in an animated pose, incorporating vibrant colour application over the struck aluminium bronze planchet. |

The Alphabet Collection was issued by the Royal Australian Mint across 2015–2017 as a circulating commemorative program aimed squarely at younger collectors, with each letter paired with an Australian animal, place, or cultural reference. The "H" coin in the series depicts a hedgehog — an animal not native to Australia — which prompted some collector commentary at the time, though the RAM maintained the selection was chosen for child appeal rather than ecological accuracy.
