Additional information

The Alphabet Collection was issued by the Royal Australian Mint across 2015–2017 as a 26-piece legal tender series targeting the collector and gifting market, each coin assigned a letter paired with an Australian-themed subject. The pad-printing technique — a process borrowed from industrial product decoration — was applied to deposit color onto the struck surface, a method the RAM adopted for several collector issues during this period as an alternative to enameling.
