| Opschrift voorzijde | ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2013 1 DOLLAR IRB |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a stylised rendition of the classic kangaroo motif derived from the original Australian penny design, mirrored so that the kangaroo faces right rather than left as on the source coin. The composition presents the animal in a dynamic hopping pose set within an open field. Surrounding legends identify the commemorative theme and bullion specifications. This design marks the 20th anniversary of the Perth Mint's iconic Kangaroo bullion series. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The Australian Kangaroo silver bullion series launched in 1993, initially conceived as a direct competitor to the Canadian Maple Leaf and American Eagle programs that had dominated the silver bullion market through the late 1980s. The 20th anniversary issue of 2013 marked two decades of annual design changes — a deliberate policy that distinguishes the Kangaroo from most bullion programs, which lock in a single reverse design indefinitely. That rotating design strategy was itself a calculated move to drive collector demand alongside pure bullion purchasing.
KM#2023 carries Ian Rank-Broadley's fourth portrait of Elizabeth II, adopted by the Perth Mint in 1999.
