Aanvullende informatie

Australia sent 307 athletes to Barcelona in 1992 — its largest Olympic team to that point — and the Royal Australian Mint issued this dollar to coincide with the Games rather than commemorate results, meaning it entered circulation before a single medal had been won. The timing was deliberate; the Mint had moved toward annual themed dollar programs through the late 1980s as a revenue strategy, and the Olympics provided an unambiguous anchor date.

KM#175 is a circulation strike, not a collector issue, so worn examples are the rule rather than the exception.
