Reverse description Two kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguineae) are depicted perched side by side on a eucalyptus branch, their plumage rendered in fine relief detail against a polished field. Leafy branches extend across the upper portion of the design, framing the birds naturalistically. The curved legend THE AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA arcs across the upper field, while the purity and weight inscription 1 OZ .999 SILVER runs vertically along the right side. The date 1994 appears in the lower exergue, and the entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
