Additional information

Part of a BBC-licensed series issued through Niue's long-running collector coin program, this piece appeared in 2013 to mark the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, first broadcast on 23 November 1963 — the day after the Kennedy assassination, a scheduling accident that arguably helped the show survive its shaky debut by dominating the following week's repeat broadcast.
