Obverse description Printed in red on a fine guilloche underprint, the obverse carries a central intaglio vignette of Queen Elizabeth II in a circular frame at centre, with the national arms of Trinidad and Tobago to the left. Denomination numerals appear in ornate cartouches at upper left and upper right, flanked by an elaborate lace-pattern border. The issuing authority's name is inscribed across the top, with the statutory note of issue and denomination legend along the lower portion, accompanied by the Governor's manuscript signature facsimile at lower right.
