Aanvullende informatie

Sierra Leone has issued collector silver under its own authority since the 1970s, but the country has no historical or cultural connection to the Isis cult — this is a purely commercial bullion-collector issue, one of dozens produced annually by private minting houses that license issuing authority from small sovereign states. The Bank of Sierra Leone effectively rents its name to numismatic distributors, a practice common among several West African and Pacific island nations whose mint programs exist entirely for the export collector market.
