Reverse description The central vignette presents a detailed intaglio view of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa as seen from the front gate, rendered with fine architectural precision within an ornate guilloche frame. Large numeral counters appear at left and right, and the entire design is executed in green ink with intricate lathe-work borders characteristic of late nineteenth-century security printing.
