The twenty-fourth coin closes a series commissioned by the Polish mint (Mennica Polska) for Niue — one of several Pacific island jurisdictions whose legal tender framework makes it a convenient issuer for European collector programs. The Divine Comedy series tracked Dante's three canticles across its run, with this final piece corresponding to the concluding canto of the Paradiso, first completed around 1320, the year before Dante died in Ravenna.
