| 正面描述 | Printed in black and green, the note carries a central vignette of tobacco leaves within a circular frame inscribed with the issuer's full name, flanked at upper left and right by scalloped cartouches each bearing the denomination "1 DOLLAR" in bold letterpress. A large green underprint of the word "ONE" spans the lower centre of the note, overlaid by the promise-to-pay text in italic script and the bold legend "ONE DOLLAR". Serial number positions marked "No" appear at left and right below the border, with signature lines for Accountant and General Manager at foot, and the printer's imprint "Charles Skipper & East London" at the very base. |

| 背面描述 | Printed entirely in green, the reverse is dominated by a large central guilloche rosette bearing the denomination "ONE DOLLAR" in white serif lettering, flanked by two smaller oval guilloche medallions on either side, all set within an elaborate lathe-work border. The obverse design shows through as a faint blind impression. A perforation cancellation reading "SPECIMEN / CHARLES SKIPPER & EAST" is punched through the lower portion of the note. |
