| Obverse description | A bold heraldic eagle with wings displayed and elevated occupies the central field, its talons clutching the coat of arms of the Republic of Liberia, which features a sailing ship, a dove, and a palm tree. The legend GREATEST GENERATION curves along the upper periphery in raised serif lettering, while the denomination ONE DOLLAR is inscribed along the lower periphery.
