Reverse description The reverse presents a richly coloured and inlaid depiction of the Yusupov Fabergé Egg, crafted by Peter Carl Fabergé circa 1900, rendered in full polychrome enamel tones of rose-pink, white, and gold against a contrasting split background of white and black acanthus scrollwork. The egg is shown open on an elaborate gilt stand with rope-twist swags, lion-paw feet, and a flame finial at the apex, with a white enamel band set with diamond-shaped jewels encircling the waist. An oval portrait miniature of Tsar Nicholas II in military uniform is set within a gold cartouche at the centre of the egg's body. The Roman numeral XXV appears on the pink enamel base, referencing the 25th anniversary occasion. The curved legend FABERGÉ EGGS is inscribed in decorative script along the upper border of the field.
