| Reverse description | Three high-relief portrait busts of archetypal Wild West figures fill the field: a grizzled older gunslinger to the left, a young central gunfighter in a wide-brimmed hat pointing a revolver directly toward the viewer, and a younger figure to the right. Behind them, the bold stylised legend WILD WEST spans the upper field, incorporating playing card suits and aces within the lettering, flanked by the inscriptions NO 10 SALOON to the upper right and 45 CAL. along the right margin. Dice appear to the right of centre, and the legend DEAD MAN'S HAND is inscribed in the lower left field, evoking the famous poker hand of frontier lore. The overall composition is rendered in deeply sculpted, cinematic relief with a prooflike finish. |
