Additional information

Tuvalu has issued legal tender coinage under Australian currency agreements since independence in 1978, and its mint program — almost entirely handled by the Perth Mint — has long leaned on licensed pop-culture franchises to drive collector sales. This piece falls squarely in that commercial tradition, bearing Charles III's effigy as titular head of state following the accession he formally assumed in September 2022.

No circulation was ever intended. Perth Mint .9999 fine silver rounds of this type are produced for the numismatic gift market and see essentially zero secondary trading on coin-dealer platforms.
