| Additional information |
Niue has operated as a coin-issuing partner for international mints since the 1990s, lending its sovereignty to collector issues that have no circulation function whatsoever on the island — whose entire population hovers around 1,500. The PZL designation here refers to the Polish Mint (Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych) in Warsaw, which has aggressively expanded its bullion and numismatic program for foreign issuers over the past decade.
Charles III coinage from non-Commonwealth mints began appearing almost immediately after the September 2022 accession, with third-party issuers racing to be among the first to market the new effigy.
